  Part V- The Victors

  Xavier

I hope everything goes well. According to my mind, this should work. The swordsmasters started to cut up the first wave of offense, the barbarians were close behind... my arrows were decimating the opposing soldiers, flying at the rate of one per second. In fact all the archers were doing good. The riders were holding their ground well... as were the heroes... the mages were being surrounded. I aimed towards the offending opposition and all the archers aimed as well... good. They are safe... for now. Everything was working fine! I jumped 30 ft off the inn and used Ice in midair. The Ice encompassed my body to form a shield, and had hinges like pieces of armor, so I could move freely. Retrieving a stygian broadsword I leapt into battle, with no care for personal safety. The enemies were monsters. Now I get it. I cut down my first foe, and yet no blood came spewing out of the detached limb. I was really disappointed. The body however, did get destroyed. The monsters saw me and surrounded me. This ice armor is good, but not enough to stop hundreds of attacks. Knowing that all was lost, I stuck my hand in the air and cried for mommy. "Emily! If you can hear me, save your son!" No reply. Damn. That was my last option. Suddenly the ground opened up, and rivers of lava flowed between them. The monsters were taken aback by this and fled. All the monsters were gone. I thought we had won when... BOOM....BOOM... A giant started towards me. All the mercenaries ran for cover. Crap. I looked into my bag. Yes! My book of dark spells was in there. I took it out and jumped in the air. The giant swatted me back down. I slammed into the ground. I got up, and wiped the blood from my lip. I yelled "BLOOD SAPPER" the spell shot towards the giant, and created a deep cut. I ran backwards and screamed "BIO!" The giant's arm swelled and grew many boils, but still didn't die. Great. I am unsuccessful. I yelled "GOETIA!" A hole bore through the things chest, but it did not fall. I saw the blood, and was cheerful. I returned the tome, and ran at the giant. My knives were out, and I cut at every bit of giant available. Hahahaha! Blood! Finally! I screamed a psychotic laugh and continued to hack and slash the giant's foot to shreds. I cut at the last important muscle and the giant toppled and destroyed houses as it fell. I ran to it's face. Time stopped. Goddamnit. This thing that life does is annoying. My knife raised I heard my voice boom: "YAY! BLOOD! HAHA!" and I brought my knife down, effectively killing the stupid thing as well as releasing fountains of blood. The most important part about fights is murder... and blood. The enemies seized to advance. I looked into the wreakage of the buildings using my psychic powers. Fourteen dead, one couple had their arms around each other when they got flattened into a sandwich. Four women dead... shame... six children and two manwiches. I laughed like a psycho before calming down. The blood was over. Aww. Oh well. Back to being serious. All of the mercenaries surfaced from the hiding places... 13,274 of them. 2,482 died. But we did still have 46 mages! Then the first wave of soldiers arrived. 9,989 Swordsmasters. We are missing eleven. I will notify Connor. Then came 8,010 cavaliers. Surplus is good. 20,103 Barbarians. Gods. That is a lot of surplus. Wow. The entire mage school came. 5,671 Mages. Perfect. 6,785 knights. Wow. We are well in the surplus. 5,001 archers. Okay, almost spot on. And finally Don brought exactly 5,000 assassins. He knows I like good numbers. Wait... what's this... all 65,823 soldiers came behind me. 10,019 Soldiers came to the gates, all of unknown origins. Crap. King Joshua from the next door country, Rausten. He looked at me and held out his hand. Roy, who was beside me nodded towards me. "As my chief commander, you take this one." I took his hand. "What is your purpose here Joshua?" He looked at me and laughed. "I'd like to give you some soldiers." I wa skeptical "Are you sure? Hey Don!" My second in command (next to Lucia) stepped up. Don was a large buff dude with blonde hair and turquoise eyes. His glasses displayed his genius. "Yea?" His bass voice stood out from everyone else as he stepped towards me. "What do you think about This?" Don replied "Looks suspicious. He probably means trouble, seeing as he hates us." I snapped my fingers. "Lucia, you get the honors." She asked him "is this all your soldiers?" Joshua responded "Yes. It is all." Someone in the crowd said "KILL HIM!" I sensed chaos to follow. "Peace Grey! Joshua, you are not lying. However... I think that after the war is when you will kill us. Lucia!" Lucia unsheathed her knives. Joshua paled and ran back towards his army. Lucia cut slits in his back, and punctured his lungs into his ribcage, and stabbed them. Joshua's army started to react. Another snap, and Mattais surrounded me with winds, and my eyes turned from red to glowing gold. I raised my hand "Emily! Come on! Help me!" The ground cracked and lava spewed out. The enemy grew wary, and Lucia swung her sword up. "Stuart! If you can hear me! Help!" Lightning bolts rained down. The enemy stopped and turned. I raised my fingers and used psychic powers to stop time. Great! I thought, Back to killing mode! I leapt from soldier to soldier, massacreing ten thousand and nineteen soldiers. Time resumed, and I was standing fifty feet away from where I was previously, and all the soldiers were dead, six four hundredths of a second. I wiped off the thick layer of blood on my mouth. Everyone looked at me. I smiled sweetly at everyone. I went to talk with Roy. "Roy, I'm going to take my leave now." Roy looked at me "Xavier? We need you to help protect us!" I replied darkly, "The world needs me more. I will be back." I gathered up the seven and consulted Don. "Hey Don!" He was reading a book. "Yes?" "I'm leaving you in charge of my soldiers. Take good care of us! Oh, and take my place in war council. Thanks Don!" I took the other six outside and pointed towards the moonrise. "We need to go that way." Ivan replied "To the moon?" I laughed. "Not for another 600 years Ivan!" Hector asked the immortals something. "Um... how long have you guys been alive?" Lucia paled. "Around 16,000, maybe 17,000 years... I don't remember. But look! No wrinkles!" Mattais laughed. "16,000 Years. Xavier immortalized me thousands of years ago." I decided to answer. "With all the time travel, around 1,400,000 Years. In 2018 I went on a fantastic and awesome adventure. Mattais was there, Lucia was there too, under the name of Kumatora. Her hair was pink, and she was mean." Lucia added "We also saved the world during that time. Then Xavier brought us to this time period." Heather shrugged. "Makes sense." Gods. Good thing I didn't mention the fact that I died... several times during that period. "So. Everyone, we are going to fight two invincible evil dudes . Both are indestructible, and can create thousands of minions very quickly. A formidable foe. Even though most of us will die, we might be able to win. If we are lucky." Loch's eyes bore into me. "Well. That was some hell of a pep talk." Lucia smiled and playfully punched me in the soldier "Don't worry. We will be able to kill them." She flashed an encouraging smile. "Xavier here is always the optimist!" I myself smiled, and said. "To continue, we need to all become immortal, or we will die very quickly. Okay, Ivan, you first!" He groaned and I smirked. I placed my hands on his ears, and relayed the basic instructions. Dropping him, I moved to Heather. I placed my hands on her ears, but she became infuriated. "Why can't Hector do it?" I was indifferent. "Hector cannot relay the same instructions." She grunted and closed her eyes. I placed my hands on her ears, and relayed the basic instructions. After I laid her limp body down to face trial I looked to Lucia. "Anything to talk about?" She smiled "How about the future... Past? Oh well. The golden times." I sighed and started. "Remember Claus..." she smiled. "He was one hell of a guy, too bad he despises time travel." Yeah, I started to chuckle. "And Britney, and how she was infatuated with me?" Lucia gave me a forlorn look. "Too bad she died... and ah, Nicole. Don't forget about her!" I laughed. "Wonderful woman. Oh well, just wait a few hundred years to see them!" Lucia sighed. "I miss everyone. I wish... I wish I could go back." I smiled "you mean go forward?" She smiled back. "Yes, go forwards. Hey, I think Ivan is waking up. " and he was. Ivan got up, she looked at me in terror. I smiled. "Hey, don't get hit in the spot that feels funny." Ivan was confused. "My palm? " I shrugged. "I don't know. If that's where it feels weird." Ivan smiled, and then kicked Heather. Heather stood up and charged Ivan, knocking him back 14 feet. She smiled. Lucia clapped her hands together. "Time for sleep everyone!" We all slept away
from each other. Loch sat against a tree with his arms folded and head down. Hector slept under the stars. Lucia decided to hang herself upsidown, she sometimes tries things like this. Ivan buckled himself into a tree. Mattais slept on a bed of air, suspended two feet off the ground. Heather slept in a ditch. I sat up in a tree, but swiftly nodded off. I think I fell, but I was too busy having a vision. I was in a white room, and there were two voices. The first proposed a deal. "Hello Xavier. Welcome to my room." I swore under my breath. Then the second voice started, a woman's this time. "Hello. Welcome to our little chat." I swore even louder. "What do you two want?" The woman sweetly laughed. "Just what you want. Elimination of mankind." I thought about that. "That does sound nice..." the man spoke "What do you say? Betray your friends... and you will live." I was confused. "Um... Ryan... Jesse?" Both voices answered "Yes?" I facepalmed. "You two have be persuaded by Anima, haven't you?" Neither voices answered. "What
